The real Mcqueen

New York's Metropolitan Museum has what looks like an amazing collection of Alexande McQueen's designs spanning his acclaimed career. The fashion cognoscenti honoured him at the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Gala, which Style.com always covers thoroughly.
The UK designer's death tragically ended his career too soon; he was a champion among champions and seeing some of his work here is an emotional reminder of how great he was and what a loss his death represented.
